Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Pooker, a Chrome extension for real-time Texas Hold'em odds calculation. Please read them carefully before using the Extension.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Pooker Chrome extension (the "Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Pooker is a Chrome browser extension that provides real-time Texas Hold'em poker odds calculations. It operates as a floating overlay on top of any webpage, including online poker platforms. The Extension performs all calculations locally in your browser using a Monte Carlo simulation engine.

3. Subscription and Billing

Access to Pooker is subject to a paid subscription. A free one-month trial is offered to every new user upon registration. At the end of this trial period, the subscription automatically renews at €4.99 per month, unless cancelled before the trial ends. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. No refunds are issued for periods already billed.

4. User Account

Using the Extension requires creating an account. You may register with an email address and password, or via your Google account. In the latter case, only your email address is retrieved. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity occurring under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering.

5. Privacy and Data Collection

Pooker collects only your email address, used solely for account and subscription management. No game data, card data, session data, or any other information related to your activity is collected, transmitted, or shared. All probability calculations are performed entirely within your local browser and do not transit through any server.

6. Permitted Use

You may use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Extension. Use of the Extension must comply with the terms of service of any platform on which you choose to use it. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Extension is permitted by any applicable platform's terms.

7. No Warranty

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The calculated probabilities are statistical estimates based on Monte Carlo simulation. They are not guaranteed to be perfectly accurate and should not be used as a basis for financial decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Pooker shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Extension, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its code, design, and visual assets, is the intellectual property of Hugo Massaria. All rights are reserved. The Pooker name and logo may not be used without prior written permission.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Extension after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
